The project was designed for producing small-diameter reusable plastic straws used in insulated tumblers, water bottles, and drinking cups.
This plastic straw extrusion machine supports both LLDPE and PCT materials, meeting the customer’s requirement for stable extrusion, precise sizing, smooth cutting, and post-processing of tumbler straws.

THERMOS required a compact and reliable reusable straw production line for manufacturing:
1. LLDPE straw: 8 × 6 mm
2. PCT straw: 8 × 6 mm / 9.5 × 7.5 mm
3. Output capacity: 10–40 kg/h
4. Stable small tube extrusion
5. Accurate cutting length
6. Smooth chamfering and V-shape opening
7. Suitable for indoor production with continuous operation
The customer needed a complete small diameter tube extrusion line from material feeding to extrusion, cooling, haul-off, cutting, chamfering, and opening.
QTech-Machinery provided a complete LLDPE and PCT straw extrusion line customized for reusable tumbler straw production.
The solution included a precision servo single screw extruder, vacuum cooling calibration tank, servo haul-off cutting machine, manual chamfering machine, manual opening machine, and industrial chiller.
This complete plastic tube extrusion line helps THERMOS produce high-quality reusable plastic straws with stable dimensions, smooth surface quality, and efficient downstream processing.
